Julie Hadfield NASM Certified Trainer Owner

An endurance athlete and a lifelong fitness enthusiast, Julie  has always understood the importance of good health.  She opened Energy Personal Training as a way to share with others her passion, knowledge and experience of living a healthy lifestyle. She is an avid road biker riding centuries and multi-day long distance events. Her favorite annual event is the Courage Classic that benefits The Children’s Abuse Center at Mary Bridge Hospital.  The Classis is a three-day, 172 mile event that covers three-mountain passes. 

As a trainer, she is a strong, enthusiastic motivator that over the past five years has developed a training style that is both physically and mentally demanding that produces the results clients are looking for.

Carissa Norman ACSM Certified Trainer

Carissa Norman comes to Energy Personal Training with more than five years of training experience.  She is a graduate of Ashmead College and maintains an ACSM Personal Trainer certification.   

Carissa enjoys  competing in triathlons, running races and coaching the Mill Creek Wolfpack basketball team.   Whether the goal is weight loss,  muscle gain or sports performance, she is committed to helping her clients realize the benefits of adding health and fitness to their daily routine.

Farley Woodbury NSCA Certified Trainer

Farley graduated with honors from the National Personal Training Institute in Seattle.  With a background in Pilates, dance and yoga she has always been fascinated by the human body. 

She is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is continually striving to stay on the cutting edge of the fitness industry.  She brings her excitement and knowledge to Energy Personal Training; and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

Samantha Ivey B.S. Exercise Science & Wellness

Samantha’s training style has developed from her work experience in the health and fitness industries over the past 10 years.  She has always had a passion for helping others and is committed to teaching people how reach their health, fitness and wellness goals. 

In addition to being a fitness professional, Samantha has spent time as a physical therapy aide, sports performance trainer and medical assistant.  In 2008 she graduated from Bastyr University with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness.  This unique combination of experiences has given her the knowledge and expertise to help her clients with a wide variety of goals.

 Whether you are looking for corrective exercises, relaxation techniques, better sports performance or increased strength and stamina, Samantha can help you achieve your goals!

Bud Barrett NESTA Certified Trainer

Bud became interested in fitness at a young age and made it his mission to learn all he can about healthy/active living and nutrition.  He practices what he preaches every day of his life, and helps each client realize that fitness is a life-long journey. There is no such thing as a “quick fix” and understanding that fad diets will never allow a client to reach their goals and maintain them. 

As a NESTA Certified Trainer he offers the training and tools that produce ongoing and long lasting results.  His athletic background consists of football, basketball, volleyball, softball and tennis.
